ABOUT ME

I am a multidisciplinary craft artist based in Los Angeles with a passion for all things art and aesthetics. My artistic practice is defined by experimentation of form and technique. I am constantly seeking out new materials which has helped me to build proficiency in various mediums. My work is largely process-driven, emphasizing the tangible qualities of each chosen medium and using those qualities to communicate meaning. Recently, I have been playing with natural phenomena like biomimicry and fractal patterns. 

Current projects include functional and decorative pottery (both hand-built and thrown), fiber and textile arts, beading, sewing, photography, mixed-media collage, and graphic design.

Production Lead, Breaking Sound, Los Angeles

April 2025 - Present

  • Coordinate all on-site execution of live music event production

  • Act as primary liaison between artists, vendors, and production teams to ensure aligned logistics and timelines.

  • Design and implement stage layouts and floorplans to support smooth performance transitions.

  • Manage ticketing systems, including setup, sales tracking, and on-site guest list coordination.

  • Lead coordinator for logistics regarding venue, vendors, art direction and live entertainment.

  • Managed event floor plans, and AV logistics to ensure seamless operations.

  • Managed budgets and donation payment and tracking system to streamline fundraising efforts.

  • Executed lighting and electrical setup for event, including troubleshooting electrical components and overseeing the setup of lighting systems.

Guest Curator, Afters In LA Group Show, Birdhouse Gallery, Los Angeles

  • Managing communication and logistical coordination with artists, ensuring seamless installation of artwork.

  • Designing and distributing press releases to targeted audiences.

  • Crafting clear and engaging wall text that provides artist information, enhancing visitor experience.

  • Developing promotional materials, including digital and print assets, to generate interest and drive attendance for exhibition.

  • Designing and implementing effective floor plans for exhibitions, optimizing artwork display and visitor flow within the gallery space.

  • Managing budgets and writing grants to secure funding for exhibitions, ensuring financial efficiency and resource allocation.

Creator and Co-Organizer, The Wigglin’ Flea Makers Market, Seattle

Sept. 2022- June 2023

  • Conceived, coordinated, and staged four successful Makers Markets, each event showcasing original artworks and handicrafts by 30+ student and non-student vendors, featuring live performances by multiple musicians, and attracting 300+ attendees.

  • Directed community outreach efforts to curate vendors, ensuring high-quality engagement and diverse representation

  • Designed and wrote promotional content for flyers, posters, and social media to publicize events and oversaw their distribution.

Archival Research Assistant, University of Washington Special Collections

January 2023

  • Working with Caltech Archivist Emeritus Judith Goodstein, conducted original research into primary materials about Caltech mathematician Olga Taussky Todd for an upcoming biography.
