About Me

I am a multidisciplinary craft artist based in Los Angeles with a passion for all things art and aesthetics. My artistic practice is defined by experimentation of form and technique. I am constantly seeking out new materials which has helped me to build proficiency in various mediums. My work is largely process-driven, emphasizing the tangible qualities of each chosen medium and using those qualities to communicate meaning. Presently, I have been interested in playing with natural phenomena like biomimicry and fractal patterns.

Current projects include functional and decorative pottery (both hand-built and thrown), fiber and textile arts, beading, sewing, photography, mixed-media collage, and graphic design.

Managing communication and logistical coordination with artists, ensuring seamless installation of artwork.
Designing and distributing press releases to targeted audiences.
Crafting clear and engaging wall text that provides artist information, enhancing visitor experience.
Developing promotional materials, including digital and print assets, to generate interest and drive attendance for exhibition.
Designing and implementing effective floor plans for exhibitions, optimizing artwork display and visitor flow within the gallery space.
Managing budgets and writing grants to secure funding for exhibitions, ensuring financial efficiency and resource allocation.

September- December 2024

Managed in-home event layout, and live entertainment schedules to ensure seamless operations.
Executed lighting and electrical setup for event, including troubleshooting electrical components and overseeing the setup of lighting systems to enhance event aesthetics.
Curated and designed bespoke cocktail menus tailored to the event theme.

Designed and developed curriculum activities in science, reading, writing, art, and music to encourage student participation and foster conceptual and creative thinking.

Attended professional development workshops on curriculum development and conflict resolution

Summer 2023; Summer 2021

Developed and managed vocational programming for adult campers with developmental disabilities; provided behavioral support; facilitated group event planning, including publication of campus newsletter and production of staff-wide events
Coordinated and publicized camp-wide “Color Wars” Field Day event involving 500 participants
Provided counseling and oversight for 15 campers and collaborative support for an additional 50+ campers

Sept. 2022- June 2023

Conceived, coordinated, and staged four successful Makers Markets, each event showcasing original artworks and handicrafts by 30+ student and non-student vendors, featuring live performances by multiple musicians, and attracting 300+ attendees.
Directed community outreach efforts to curate vendors, ensuring high-quality engagement and diverse representation
Designed and wrote promotional content for flyers, posters, and social media to publicize events and oversaw their distribution.

January 2023

Working with Caltech Archivist Emeritus Judith Goodstein, conducted original research into primary materials about Caltech mathematician Olga Taussky Todd for an upcoming biography.
